Do not prepare it in slot 6 as you wouldn’t be able to prepare it over and over to try and get a 6. If you don’t roll a 6 do what you can to try and get one. 33% chance to roll a 6 and follow strategy above. If you don’t roll a 6, use the spell to do 1 damage and roll an even dice. Use remaining dice however you want to do smaller amounts of damage just be sure to have the 4 spells above prepared at the end of the turn. 2 Requirement - Any dice 4 or higher Result - Duplicate dice 3 Requirement - Single dice - must be 6 Effect - Deal 10 damage 4 Requirement - Single dice - must be 6 Effect - Fury - next action happens twice If you roll a 6 off the bat, duplicate it, use Fury, then do 20 damage. I just got this and my strategy was to have the 4 spells below prepared (I’m going to list what they do, not name as I can’t recall that right now) 1 Requirement - Any dice Effect - Do 1 damage and roll an even dice. (some sample links posted in first comment) BaerTaffy, Retromation and NorthernLion have good playlists with the witch. If you are struggling, I recommend watching a few youtubers playthroughs to get some tips of how to approach this. I normally go for the freeze spells since they do slow damage but disable the enemies dice. There are a million different strategies you could go with. What spells you choose depend on RNG and how you like to play. The problem is that the witch is the hardest character by far (IMO and I have 26 hours in the steam version). Then all you have to do is put any 4 spells in those slots and beat the game. In order to get enough XP to level up 3 times, you must full clear every floor (I could be wrong on this, but I don't think so). Every time you level up from XP, you are offered either a prepared spell slot, or an upgraded spell slot (and sometimes another dice). A prepared slot is a spell that starts in one of the 4 spots. When you roll a dice, you can put that dice into your spellbook and take out the corresponding spell into one of those 4 spell slots for use. When you play as the Witch, you have 4 spell slots.
